Also,
I know “blog neglect” doesn’t even begin to cover it, but lately I’ve been hanging out in the personified mouth of my first semester as a college sophomore, being chewed to bits.
Back in the day, I was always indignant every time my formerly-sophomore-now-junior friends blabbed on about how chillax freshman year is because, I don’t know, my pride gets pricked when someone implies I am not doing any effort (even if most of the time that really is the case). But now, with finals and orals and long tests and 3-hour make up classes hanging over my head, I’ve realized how pigheaded and based on a completely incorrect premise that Pride Thing is. BECAUSE SOPHOMORE YEAR ACTUALLY IS HARDER, CAPS LOCK CAPS LOCK.
I’m chalking it down to being a freshman. Now that I’m through with that stage, it seems like such a disease, seeing it from the outside.
I feel like I’ve had so much missed opportunities to blog about some sizably epic (if you’ll forgive my use of the word) things that happened this sem, but ah well. Next time, then.
